PJC Honors Its Partners in Annual Awards Luncheon
PJC Commemorates International Holocaust Remembrance Day with Guest Speaker, Sherwin Gluck
Welcome To Perrineville Jewish Center
PJC is proud to be a 113 year old conservative, egalitarian synagogue that is evolving to support the 21st century needs of Jewish people in Monmouth and Middlesex Counties. PJC focuses on creating a warm, family friendly environment where adults and children can learn about their Jewish heritage, faith and values. We welcome all with open arms — this includes all levels of observance, non-traditional, interfaith families and singles. Our Friday night services focus on the warmth of Shabbat with both Hebrew and English readings, explanation of prayers and involving our congregation. We hold weekly Onegs on Friday night that allow members of all generations to gather, socialize and make meaningful friendships with other members as well as Clergy. We offer a traditional Saturday morning service with a full Torah reading. Members are honored with Aliyot to the Torah and are privileged to have discussions on the Torah or Haftorah portions, hear engaging sermons, discussions on a variety of topics and partake in our weekly Kiddushes that once again help to foster a sense of community, togetherness and friendship.
We also offer an active social club that holds events for all age groups, community outreach through our Mitzvah Mensches committee that works to bring generations together to put into practice the tenant of Tikkun Olam, Tzedukkah and participating in Mitzvot.
PJC is also home to LEV Academy, our outstanding Jewish Enrichment Program for students in grades K-7.
At PJC you are not just another member — you are part of a special family who knows you and your family by name. Our synagogue is small. With the volunteer help of a very dedicated Board of Directors, we are able to keep our costs low, and pass the savings on to you. PJC offers a flexible participation structure to create multiple entry points to satisfy the myriad reasons for belonging to a synagogue.
