Wednesday, October 27, 2021 • 21 Cheshvan 5782
7:00 PM - 8:30 PMThe Book Club of PJC is planning to read and discuss Camron Wright’s The Rent Collector.
Please join us on Wednesday, October 27 at 7 PM to discuss this fascinating story of a family who resides on the outskirts of the dump in Cambodia, but whose lives are changed forever by the rent collector.
According to Princeton Review ( 2012). “ The resounding message throughout this book is one of hope and at the same time disbelief that people could live in such horrible conditions. I loved that the main character, living in a dump with untold challenges, wants to learn to read. There are many lessons to be learned and the book is full of inspiration; sure to generate lots of healthy conversation.”
The book is available through Amazon.com as new and used at https://www.amazon.com/Rent-Collector-Camron-Wright/dp/1609077059
Please join us for a unique discussion about how lives can be changed by unexpected circumstances.
