LEV Echad: K-2
LEV Echad: K-2
In Hebrew LEV Echad means ONE HEART
So what unites our hearts?
Music, Art, Drama, Stories, Games, Cooking and Hands-on projects work collaboratively to bring Judaism to life!
The Program – for children in grades K-2 with some or no knowledge of basic Jewish holidays, bible stories and Hebrew language. This class, taught by fun, experienced teachers will introduce students to the Hebrew Through Movement TM program which introduces Hebrew in a playful and meaningful way, creating a positive link between children and Hebrew. Hebrew Through Movement is supported by the latest brain research on learning, providing an aural, visual and kinesthetic foundation for Hebrew that opens the door to more facile Hebrew decoding and reading. HTM’s learning model is based on ways that children learn naturally:
Shabbat, Prayers, Mitzvot & More through music, drama, cooking
